The Ketty earrings by Silvia Kelly are dedicated to those who love gems with an “inner life.” The star is labradorite, a stone that never ceases to amaze with its labradorescence: that optical phenomenon that, as the angle of the light changes, reveals flashes of blue, green, and gold against a smoky gray background. We select each fragment of labradorite precisely for this magical depth, so that every movement of the head triggers sudden, magnetic reflections. What makes the Ketty design unique is the pairing of labradorite with peridot. This stone, known for its luminous and vibrant forest green, creates a vibrant contrast with the nocturnal hues of the main gem. The whole is harmonized by an 18kt rose gold setting, whose coppery hue acts as the perfect bridge between the cool reflections of the labradorite and the warmth of the peridot. In our artisanal workshop, we chose rose gold precisely for its ability to soften the features and warm the composition, transforming a rare gemstone combination into an extremely wearable and refined piece.
