THE TOURMALINE

THE TOURMALINE

The tourmaline features more than 100 different shades. The gem’s name comes from the Sri Lankan word turmali. Each crystal of tourmaline has two colors, one dark and one light. Tourmalines come from Brazil, Afghanistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Madagascar, Malawi and Mozambique. The tourmaline is considered a magical stone, capable of protecting the wearer from bad luck.

Size Guide for Rings

Fingers tend to become smaller in colder temperatures.
Indeed, we advise you to measure fingers at the end of the day, when they are largest.

  • Take a length of string or cut a strip of paper no more than 1cm wide (a slightly less than half an inch)
  • Wrap it around the largest part of your finger
  • Use a pen to mark the point on the string or strip of paper where it forms a circle
  • Pick the marked strip or string of paper on a flat surface
  • Using a ruler, measure the distance from the end of the string or paper to the mark you make
  • Compare your measurement with the chart below to determine your ring size

If your size is between two sizes or if you are unsure of your size, opt for the largest of the two.
